PEACHTREE ROAD
LUTHERAN CHURCH

Welcome Visitors

Welcome to Peachtree Road Lutheran Church – we are a Protestant congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are located at 3686 Peachtree Road in Atlanta, Georgia - at the corner of Narmore Drive on Peachtree Road, half mile northeast of Phipps Plaza, convenient to the Buckhead and Brookhaven areas.  Our church office phone number is (404) 233-7031.

We invite you to attend services at our church - visitors are always welcome here.  Our Sunday morning service begins at 11:00 a.m. (10:30 a.m. during the summer months).  Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before the service begins.

Prior to the service, Sunday school classes for both grade school children and adults meet at 9:45 a.m.  We have a professionally staffed nursery available for children up to five years of age.

Plenty of parking is available in the parking lot located behind the church school just off Narmore Drive – there is also limited parking along Narmore Drive.  From these parking areas, you can enter the church building from the lower level.  Once inside, you can take the elevator up to the main floor, or you can walk up the stairs.  You may also enter the church through the red front door on the main level, which is very convenient if you are walking in from Peachtree Street.

Our church is very accessible for people using wheelchairs or walkers – the church pews seat over 200 people, with some pews with wide spaces in front of them, plus a couple of wheelchair accessible areas.  If you need assistance, please see one of the ushers as you enter the church sanctuary.

Please dress comfortably – some people dress casually but nicely, others wear fine suits and dresses.  Either way is OK.

Sunday services usually last about an hour.  The service is in a relatively traditional format with several hymns, prayers and readings from the Bible, all in praise of God.  Our pastor always preaches interesting, thought-provoking sermons.  We also have children’s sermons.

After the service we gather for a brief time of fellowship and refreshments.  Occasionally during the year we gather for a meal after the service in the fellowship hall on the lower level.

During Advent (beginning the fourth Sunday before Christmas and continuing to Christmas Day) and Lent (the forty days before Easter), we have additional services on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

We invite you to visit the church as often as you like.  If you desire to become a member, please speak with the pastor.
